Account Executive

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acquire new business accounts, close sales, and achieve sales targets
  • Develop sales strategies and maintain high productivity levels
  • Call on businesses in person, from major corporations to smaller companies
  • Conduct presentation meetings with potential clients as needed
  • Understand different client’s needs and identify sales opportunities
  • Communicate with clients regarding sales/service issues while making timely introductory and follow up calls/emails upon receipt of the request for Quotes (RFQ)
  • Prepare quotations for compliance testing, certifications, and international approvals services
  • Receive Purchase Orders (PO), open projects, and track project completion dates
  • Create and maintain a database of current and potential clients
  • Staying informed about competing services and helping the company identify and build the best practices
  • Understand and follow BACL’s Quality System, procedures, and work instructions

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Some outside business-to-business sales experience is preferred but is not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook and PowerPoint, and CRM Software
  • Communication skills, both verbal and written. Proactively maintain communication channels with prospects via email, phone, and face-to-face meetings
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Ability to achieve targets
