Account Executive
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Acquire new business accounts, close sales, and achieve sales targets
- Develop sales strategies and maintain high productivity levels
- Call on businesses in person, from major corporations to smaller companies
- Conduct presentation meetings with potential clients as needed
- Understand different client’s needs and identify sales opportunities
- Communicate with clients regarding sales/service issues while making timely introductory and follow up calls/emails upon receipt of the request for Quotes (RFQ)
- Prepare quotations for compliance testing, certifications, and international approvals services
- Receive Purchase Orders (PO), open projects, and track project completion dates
- Create and maintain a database of current and potential clients
- Staying informed about competing services and helping the company identify and build the best practices
- Understand and follow BACL’s Quality System, procedures, and work instructions
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Some outside business-to-business sales experience is preferred but is not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook and PowerPoint, and CRM Software
- Communication skills, both verbal and written. Proactively maintain communication channels with prospects via email, phone, and face-to-face meetings
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Ability to achieve targets
